At the heart of this church plant is a simple conviction: that God, in His grace, is gathering a people for Himself through the finished work of Jesus — and that He does this through the proclamation of the gospel, the making of disciples, and the planting of healthy local churches. Which we get to be a part of - Woo!
Geraldton is a growing regional centre approaching 50 000 people, but like every place - especially regional towns and cities, it is filled with people who need to hear the good news of Jesus. That’s where we come in! Our prayer is to see a church established that is deeply rooted in the gospel — a community where Christ is preached, grace is central, and people are called to repentance and faith, then built up as disciples who live for His glory.
We’ve already seen the Lord’s kindness and provision in so many ways — forming a committed planting team (so far 30 adults), opening doors with the local community and school, and building real momentum as we move toward public launch. It’s humbling, exciting, a heap of fun, and a bit crazy at times - it hasn’t been without its challenges, of course.
We hope, though, that in this planting venture, you, as our beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord, would be willing to partner with us.
